In my quest to uncover how the internet has become a source of financial empowerment for some people, I have learnt a few things. I have come to understand that money is what you get in exchange for the value added to someone's life. I have also learnt that our world is now unlimited (Thanks to the Internet). People don't need physical offices to create content and make money. All you need in order to make money, is A SMART PHONE. YES! You heard me well. A SMART PHONE. Secondly, what service are you willing to provide? On YOUTUBE, People are teaching others how to cook, how to drive, some are selling ideas, fashion, make up and all manner of skills. This is called, CREATING A CONTENT. Research has it that CONTENTS that are focused on HEALTH, WEALTH, RELATIONSHIP AND ENTERTAINMENT sell like wildfire. To say that life wasn’t fair would make it sound like he was the only captive incarcerated under the ogling eyes of poverty. He needed not to say much about himself as his poverty status gave a voice to his personality. A voice that could be heard by the deaf, smelt through blocked nostrils, felt by the dead, seen by the blind but hated to be tasted by all.   There was nothing desirable about it, as it was deficient in all comeliness. His shirt had holes littered over it, his trousers smeared with grease, his body oozed, emitting a smell that could make one puke his intestines and his hair was a safe habitat for bugs. This was the normal life he ever knew.             Coming Soon................

Some years ago, I came in contact with a boy who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. It affected his ability to walk properly, hold objects and chew food substances. To my surprise, he also exhibited some traces of Autism like repetitive behaviour pattern, poor social skills and lack of speech and language. Due to his condition, he had no potty skills and he could not feed himself at the age of 6. Everything about his situation brought pain to the heart of his parents. I saw hope escape from the heart of his parents like a vapour. Their tears became their companions at all times. They were troubled about his future and wondered if he was ever going to be independent in life. Uncertainty stared at them in the eyes. Everything looked dark.  Today, the boy's story hasn't changed but he was empowered with coping strategies. He was taught to read without speech, write without holding a pencil or pen. This was long before modern technological tools came into existence. GET READY T...
