British Council calls.......... new Art new Audiences - Open Call 2019 new Art new Audiences aims to be a catalyst for the creation of new art that reaches new audiences in Sub-Saharan Africa and the UK. The call is interested in projects that showcase new art to 18 to 35-year-old audiences who haven’t seen your art before in the following art forms: architecture, design and fashion; film; music; dance and theatre; creative economy; cultural skills; literature; visual arts; and any combination of art forms. We are looking for projects between the UK and two Sub-Saharan Africa regions (East, West, Southern). WTO issues call for papers for 2019 Essay Award for Young Economists. The WTO has issued a call for young economists to submit papers for the 2019 WTO Essay Award. The award aims to promote high-quality research on trade policy and international trade co-operation and to reinforce the relationship between the WTO and the academic community. Essays must be submitted by 31 May 2019. Prize The annual WTO Essay Award provides a prize of CHF 5,000 to the author(s) of the winning essay. IPCC launches fifth round of Scholarship Awards GENEVA, 25 Feb- The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has launched a call for a  applications for the 5th round of scholarship awards. The call runs from 22 February to 22 March 2019. The IPCC will accept applications from PhD students that have been enrolled for at least a year or are undertaking post-doctoral research. Applicants should be citizens of a developing country with priority given to students from Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
